Building confidence through ballet foundations
Technique is not a barrier to expression. It is what makes expression repeatable, sustainable and free.

Ballet foundations give a dancer a reliable vocabulary: how to stand, how to transfer weight, how to move a limb without losing the centre. Once those things are dependable, the dancer stops managing their body and starts using it.
Confidence tends to follow precision. A dancer who understands why an exercise works, and can feel the difference when it is done well, no longer relies on being told they are doing it correctly.
This is why foundational work sits at the centre of ABD Baila's teaching, regardless of whether a dancer is eight years old, preparing for vocational training, or returning to class as an adult.
